Elle is a Melbourne based artist exhibiting in Melbourne, New South Wales and Canberra.  Predominantly self-taught her knowledge has been expanded working with artists such as Stanley Wong, Peter Foster and Zsu Zsi Hartman.   Attending Master Classes with Godwin Bradbeer, Steven Cox and various other short courses and workshops.  Her repertoire incorporates a variety of styles and mediums including a series of watercolour landscapes painted while on a six month sojourn in France.  Some of these works are now hanging in private collections in France, London and Brussels.

Her passion is for Life Drawing and exploring the variety of expressions offered by the female figure.  Cats and other animals also capture her imagination as they offer new lines and movement for exploration.  The majority of her work is in black and white employing minimalist strokes to capture the essence of the pose.  Her work is subtle and delicate sometimes capturing movement with just a few lines.  Her preference is for working with either a Chinese brush or pen and ink incorporating delicate washes to the complete the drawing.
